Recovering a chair

My Sister in Law, Sarah was here for the weekend, with my brother and their boys, she has a great little Etsy Shop FripperiesnBibelots selling the stitch markers that she designs and creates (if you knit, you will understand).

Sarah has been planning to recover this chair for quite sometime, and I promised that if she came up for a couple of days, I would help her with it and she could use my industrial sewing machine.  After marking some points to match up, we unpicked the old cover and cut out the lovely teal chenille fabric.  By the time they went home most of a new cover was made, complete with a zip up the back.

I did find it rather daunting, not having the actual chair to check everything against, and there is some adjustment needed, but all in all it turned out rather well!
