Mending my Levis

Having bought a lovely second hand pair of Levis from Poor Boy Vintage Boutique in Hull, I found that one of the button holes had worn and was annoyingly awkward to keep done up.

I found a nice piece of blue linen, added some iron on interfacing and stitched it to the back of the button hole to give some strength and stability.

Then I re-stitched the button hole using Gutermann upholstery thread.

So much better, they stay done up now.  I love a good mend, don’t you?
